At VerityKe, we're on a mission to empower small businesses across East Africa with simple, transparent tools for managing credit sales. We believe that every business—from the neighborhood duka to growing wholesalers—deserves access to professional financial management tools that don't require an accounting degree to use.

Our Story
VerityKe was founded in 2025 after our founders witnessed firsthand the challenges small business owners face when managing credit sales. From retail shops to distributors, we saw the same problems repeated:
- Lost revenue: Businesses couldn't track all their credit sales, leading to forgotten debts and missed payments
- Manual processes: Stacks of notebooks, scattered receipts, and Excel sheets that became outdated minutes after creation
- No visibility: Owners had no clear picture of who owed them money or how much
- Complex tools: Existing accounting software was too complicated and expensive for small businesses
We decided to build something better—a tool designed specifically for Kenyan businesses that sell on credit. One that's as easy to use as WhatsApp but as powerful as professional accounting software.

We're a small, dedicated team based in Nairobi. Our team combines software engineering expertise with deep understanding of small business operations in Kenya. Some of us have run businesses ourselves. Others have backgrounds in fintech, e-commerce, and enterprise software.
